- The Hurricane
A hurricane was approaching, so the neighborhood is being evacuated. A truck driving by Joe’s house stops. The driver yells out, “Come on Joe! Get in the truck. The hurricane is coming!” And Joe replies, “No, God will save me.” So the truck continued on its way.
The floodwaters begin to rise, and boat floats by. The people in the boat yell out, “Come on Joe! Get in the boat. The flood waters are rising!” And Joe replies, “No, God will save me.” So the boat continued on its way.
The floodwaters continue to rise to the level of the roof of the house. So, Joe must stand on the roof. A helicopter comes and the pilot yells out, “Come on Joe! Grab the rope and we’ll pull you into the helicopter.” And Joe replies again, “No, God will save me.” So the helicopter continued on its way.
Joe drowns and goes to heaven. Joe yells at God, “Why didn’t you save me!” And God replied, “I sent you a truck, a boat, and a helicopter!” God sends us signs along our path. It is our responsibility to notice and follow them! ~author unknown

Everything is Energy…
We learn in school that molecules moving quickly are ‘gas’; molecules moving more slowly are ‘liquid’; and molecules moving even more slowly are ‘solid’. So, ‘solid’ things appear to be motionless because our eyes can’t perceive the subtle molecular motion. Therefore, everything is moving, so everything is energy.
Also, according to medical science, human bodies are electro-chemical. From a macro perspective, our nervous systems function by sending electric pulses up and down our spinal chord and through our nervous system via neurons. Energy in motion creates an energy field (or in spiritual circles it is called an aura), which is a sphere of energy all around our bodies (i.e. about 3ft. outside the body in every direction). From a micro perspective, our cells change their electric charge depending upon whether they want to let nutrients inside the cell wall, or let the waste pass outside the cell wall.
So how does energy get into our bodies?
The air we breathe has energy. Have you ever been in nature at the beach or in the mountains, took a deep breather and thought ‘What fresh air!’? When air has more energy, we notice it and call it ‘fresh’ air. Also, the food we eat has energy… some more than others.
Energy also gets into out bodies via charkas. Chakras are energy centers like antenna that bring energy into our bodies. Everyone has 7 major charkas positioned along the spine outside the body. Once the chakra receives the energy, the meridians (i.e. energy pathways in the body) take the energy to where it is needed in the body. Each chakra has specific energy applications.

What is Energy Healing?
Energy Healing can focus on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, as well as experiences in this lifetime and past lives. When our charkas and meridians are blocked or not functioning ideally, then physical injuries, illness, disease, or emotional upset can occur. A person trained in energy healing techniques has learned how to channel (i.e. focus) the energy that exists all around us in order to send it to the client’s energy field (i.e. aura) to unblock the charkas and meridians thereby facilitating the healing process.
